QI’m looking to replace my 80 inch Meyer home plow cutting edge with a more substantial blade. The current one is 1/8 inch thick and wish to replace it with a 3/8 thick or even 5/8 thick. Can you provide either?

Sorry - We are not aware of any thicker edges for a small plow like the Home Plow.Maybe try a Steel Fabricator?

QI have a Chevy 1500 2012 extended cab short box with a 3” leveling kit. Is the md80 snow dogg plow a good fit for this rig?Would I need a larger alternator or beef up the suspension? Or is this not a good truck for plowing snow?

the MD 80 is recommended for your truck as a true fit. The plow is adjustable so with the leveling kit you will be able to make that work.

QWhy would the plow have a lot of movement and bounce around when droving when the plow is in the up position

This plow is mainly held on by pins. Be sure to check that they are there and in the correct position. There is always a little a bounce when driving.

QHi im interested in the dump insert you guys have but my question is do you guys installed? or can you recomment some company that will be able to do that type of job .

Qdoes this cutting edge fit meyer lpp-7.5 poly blade

From factory the ploly balde is outfitted with a steel cutting edge. You can replace it for sure with a steel edge. The poly cutting is part# 08119 kit. The edge itself is part #09224 this does not come with hardware or brace bar.

This plow is sold as a complete plow package which includes the mount, hardware, wiring and controller. Markers and deflectors are considered optional accesories.
