When Midwest Winter Weather is Down, CPW Stays on Top!

Greetings fellow CPW Bloggers;

            There’s nothing like a nice February Day with a dusting of snow to keep you itching for more snow, huh? Here in Tinley Park, IL and most of Cook County we have had very little of snow and cold temperatures, cold enough to get our spreaders out and lay down some salt. We know that some of you snow fighters in other parts of the country are really “busting tail” getting that white stuff out of the way! Lately we have noticed that many of our local customers and even some as far away as Ohio, Iowa, Wisconsin and some parts of Michigan and Indiana, have been calling up with replacement parts orders. They are also calling in to upgrade their present equipment and some are even interested in completely replacing some of that equipment. It is interesting to us at CPW that this late in the season there is still a high demand for parts. We, of course, want to make sure that ALL of our CPW Customers can get the parts/equipment that they need quickly. We are still fully staffed, so please do NOT hesitate to give us a call and let us know how we can help you with any and all of your equipment needs.

Below is a map from Accuweather showing that this winter weather isn’t going to let up for a little while, whether or not that little groundhog sees his shadow!

Snow, Ice Creating Slippery Travel across Mid-Atlantic

Another round of travel-disrupting snow and ice will affect the mid-Atlantic through tonight before a stronger storm impacts the region Friday into Saturday. While ice and snow with the current storm will not be significant, people from North Carolina to southwestern New England should still be prepared for slow traffic and slippery roads into Wednesday morning. The stronger storm expected to hit the region later this week could bring more substantial snowfall to parts of the mid-Atlantic that were buried by the snowstorm last weekend….
