2008 & Newer Meyer Vehicle Truck side Module Change

9/4/2008 Jay Yunker | Category: Tech Tips | 3590 Views | 1 Comments |

Meyer products has been using a Part Number 07115 module kit on the Truck side portion of your Meyer Snowplow. There has been a change in 2008 that you are going to need to use Part Number 07548. This is going to include a Type 2 module that matches to ALL 2008 & Newer Truck Applications. Using the old Meyer Night Sabre 07115 kit, will trigger a default code in your vehicle that could lead up to the truck not starting, and being stranded which the only fix is to have the vehicle towed to the nearest Authorized Service center that will have to reprogram the PCM in your vehicle. Below is the diagram of the new 07548 Meyer Night Sabre harness kit with schematic showing how the installation of the wiring. If you have a 2008 & Newer Vehicle and have a Meyer Snowplow, this is the correct harness you are going to need to purchase. 07548 is available in 2 separate ways: It comes with the 07234 Night Sabre Light kit, or you can purchase it separately. We hope that this tech tip can benefit you, as we strive to make sure that CPW customers are first to hear the latest and greatest in the Snow & Ice Removal Industry..
