This is our most popular heavy duty alarm. It operates from 12-36 VDC and provides 112 dB(A). The reverse mounted speaker meets the challenging heavy duty requirements. It's universal mounting bracket with slotted holes covers a range of popular surface mounting applications. Durable enough to have a "life of the vehicle warranty," the 22 gauge steel housing has an 18 gauge mounting plate, all protected with a powder coat paint and an epoxy encapsulated circuit board. It is sealed against dust, moisture, vibration and is steam clean/pressure washable. Lead wires are provided to allow for over moulded or hard shell connectors protecting from corrosion. This alarm works on positive or negative ground systems and is protected from reverse polarity and voltage transients.
