The TGS05B comes standard with a "Permanent" mount system.  This simply means the spreader is bolted to the step bumper and also comes with top support arms that bolt to the top of the Pickups bed rails.

There is an optional  "Swing Gate" mount as well.  It too has brackets the bolt to the step bumper and the top bed rails as well.  These four bracket allow the spreader to swing out of the way fully exposing the pickups tailgate and the bed.  You can then easily load a pallet of salt, snowblowers or any thing else you might need.    *NOTE*  The spreader can NOT be swung while loaded with salt.  It will bend the brackets and possible the trucks bed rails.
